GET STARTED IN MINUTES

CREATE YOUR FREE ACCOUNT
Go to www.KarateShowCase.com
Click the "LOG IN" button in the top-right corner of the page
Click the "Sign Up" tab at the top of the popup window
Fill in your full name, choose a belt level, and enter your email +
password
Optionally upload a profile photo and set your account to
private if desired
Read and agree to the Waiver of Liability
Click "Create Account" — you're in!

UPLOAD YOUR VIDEO TO YOUTUBE
Karate Showcase uses YouTube to
host your match videos. This keeps things fast, reliable, and free. Here's how to get a video ready:
Sign in with a Google account or create one for free
Once signed in, you can upload videos
B. UPLOAD YOUR MATCH VIDEO
Click the ＋ Create button (top-right on YouTube)
Select "Upload Video"
Drag your fight video file or click "Select Files"
Give it a title (e.g., "John vs. Smith — States 2025")
Set visibility to "Unlisted" or "Public"
Click "Publish" — done!

Pro
Tip: Set videos to "Unlisted" if you only want team members to see them. Anyone with the link
can view an unlisted video, but it won't show up in public YouTube searches.

ADD YOUR MATCH ON KARATE SHOWCASE
Now paste that YouTube link
into your Karate Showcase profile:
Log in to www.KarateShowCase.com
Go to "My Profile" (top-right of the page)
Scroll down to your Match Videos section
Click "+ Add Match Video"
Select the tournament from the dropdown (or create a new one)
Enter the date, scores, and opponent name
Paste the YouTube URL you just copied
Click "Add Match" — your video is now on your profile!

GET EXPERT COACHING FEEDBACK
Once your match is uploaded,
your coach (or any authorized coach) can:
▸ Watch your fight video directly on the platform
▸ Pause at any moment and leave a timestamped coaching note
▸ Enter the exact time (e.g., 1:23) so you know
precisely what they're referring to
▸ Click any note and the video jumps to that exact second
▸ Review your entire match history, fight by fight, tournament
by tournament

WAIVER OF LIABILITY, ASSUMPTION OF RISK & TERMS OF
USE
By creating an account on KarateShowCase.com ("the Platform"), I acknowledge and agree to the
following:
1. Assumption of Risk. I understand that karate and martial arts competition involve
inherent risks of physical injury. I voluntarily assume all risks associated with participation in any
training, practice, competition, or event referenced on or facilitated through this Platform.
2. Waiver & Release. I, on behalf of myself and my heirs, executors, administrators,
and assigns, hereby release, waive, and forever discharge KarateShowCase.com, its owner(s), operators,
developers, affiliates, coaches, administrators, and all associated individuals (collectively "Released
Parties") from any and all liability, claims, demands, causes of action, or damages of any kind —
including but not limited to personal injury, property damage, emotional distress, or death — arising out
of or in connection with my use of this Platform, participation in any event, or any interaction with
other users.
3. Media & Content. I consent to the upload, display, and sharing of photos, videos,
and other media depicting me or my minor child on this Platform. I understand that content uploaded by any
user may be viewable by other users or the public depending on account privacy settings, and I waive any
claim related to the display of such content.
4. Data & Security. I understand that while reasonable measures are taken to protect
user data, no online platform can guarantee absolute security. I acknowledge that KarateShowCase.com and
its Released Parties shall not be held liable for any data breach, unauthorized access, data loss, or
security incident of any kind, regardless of cause. I provide my information voluntarily and at my own
risk.
5. No Professional Advice. The Platform does not provide medical, legal, or professional
coaching advice. All rules references, training information, and competition guidance are for
informational purposes only.
6. Minors. If I am creating this account on behalf of a minor, I represent that I am the
parent or legal guardian and I agree to these terms on their behalf, accepting full
responsibility.
7. Indemnification. I agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the Released Parties
from any claims, liabilities, expenses, or attorney fees arising from my use of the Platform, my violation
of these terms, or any content I upload.
8. Governing Law. This agreement shall be governed by applicable state and federal law.
Any dispute shall be resolved in the jurisdiction where the Platform owner resides.
9. Entire Agreement. This waiver constitutes the entire agreement between myself and the
Released Parties regarding liability. It supersedes any prior agreements or representations. If any
provision is found unenforceable, the remainder shall remain in full force and effect.
