End a membership plan
For Students and families
In short
Open My account from your account menu and press Show my plans under Your plans, then choose End at the end of its paid period on the plan. The plan stops charging after the period you have already paid for, and nothing about your training, belt or records changes until then. Your dojo's own membership agreement may set notice or other terms, so check it, or ask your dojo.

Ending a plan
- Open your account menu → My account.
- Under Your plans, press Show my plans. It lists every plan that will charge you again, at any of your dojos.
- Press End at the end of its paid period on the plan.
The plan ends when the period you have already paid for runs out. Until then nothing changes. You can also use Cancel membership on the Membership card of My Dashboard.
Who can end a plan
- The person who pays for it, always.
- The athlete, or a parent or guardian linked to them, while they belong to the dojo.
- The dojo's administrators. Only the dojo can end a plan straight away rather than at the end of the paid period.
Changing your mind
Until the end date, the Membership card says when the plan ends and offers Keep my membership. Only the account that pays for it can keep it going.
Refunds and your dojo's terms
Ending a plan refunds nothing by itself. Your dojo sets its own prices and is responsible for its refunds:
Sales to families. When a family pays a dojo through the Platform, the payment is made to the dojo on the dojo’s own payment account and the dojo is the seller. The dojo sets its own prices and is responsible for its refunds and for any taxes on those sales.
If your dojo's membership agreement asks for notice, it applies as well; ask your dojo if you are unsure.
