Your rank and belt tests

In short
Your rank and its history are on your profile, in the Profile tab's Rank section, and Training & Progress on My Dashboard shows what your next belt requires. When your dojo lists you for a belt test, you are told; My Dashboard shows the date with a countdown, and Training & Progress shows the time, place and notes. A pass is recorded by your dojo, and you are told when it is.
Your rank
On your profile, the Rank section of the Profile tab shows your current rank, since when, and where it sits on your dojo's ladder, with your history below. Only your dojo's instructors record a rank.
What your next belt needs
Training & Progress, from My Dashboard, shows what your dojo requires for your next rank — techniques, kata, videos and documents, and any minimum months or classes. Classes you check in to count toward it, unless a class is marked No belt credit.
Some requirements ask for a practice video: upload it to YouTube as Unlisted and add the link.
Belt tests
- When your dojo lists you, you are told "Belt test scheduled". My Dashboard shows the test's date with a countdown (and the rank, when it isn't simply your next one); Training & Progress shows its time, place and notes.
- If your dojo's reminders are on, you are reminded a week before and the day before.
- A pass is recorded by your dojo, and you are told a new rank was recorded. If you were not promoted this time, My Dashboard says so for a while.
