The AI Sensei on your dojo's page
For Students and families
In short
Many dojos have an AI Sensei on their page that answers questions about the dojo — classes, times, prices and how to start — from what the dojo has published, and questions about how KarateShowCase works from this Help Center. It says when it doesn't know. Your questions and its answers are deleted after 90 days; a question it couldn't answer stays on the dojo's list until the dojo removes it, so the dojo can add the answer. Email addresses, phone numbers and card numbers you type are removed before anything is kept; names are not.
What it does
Press Ask the Sensei on your dojo's page and type your question. It answers from what your dojo has published — its own answers, documents and website — and, for questions about using KarateShowCase, from this Help Center, with a link to the article. When it has no approved answer, it says so and tells you how to reach the dojo.
It is an AI assistant, not a person at the dojo.
What it won't do
- It won't give medical advice; for an emergency it tells you to call your local emergency number.
- It won't tell you a rank or whether someone can test — your instructors decide.
- It never asks for your date of birth, address, ID or payment details.
- It only knows about this dojo.
What is kept
If a dojo offers our AI assistant on its website, the questions you type into it and the answers it gives are kept for 90 days so the dojo can see what people ask and improve its answers. They are stored without your name, account, email address, phone number or network address, and email addresses, phone numbers, and card and Social Security numbers you type are removed before anything is stored. Please don't include other personal details, such as names, in your questions
