Your KarateShowCase subscription

For Dojo owners and administrators

In short

A dojo's subscription is priced by its number of active students: $99 a month up to 50, $149 for 51–100, $199 for 101–200 and $249 for 201–400, and by agreement above that. The first 30 days are included, there is no setup charge, every band gets the whole platform, and KarateShowCase takes no percentage of what your families pay you. Members, parents and athletes are never charged by KarateShowCase.

What the price depends on, and what it does not. The monthly price is set by the number of active students on the dojo's roster, in bands: $99 a month up to 50 active students, $149 for 51–100, $199 for 101–200 and $249 for 201–400. A dojo above 400 active students, or running several locations, is priced by agreement. Parents, guardians, coaches, administrators and enquiries from prospective families are not active students: they are never counted and never charged for. Every band receives the same platform — the band determines the price, not the features available to the dojo.

There is no setup or onboarding charge.

What your families pay you

KarateShowCase takes no share of the money your families pay you. Payments go to your dojo's own Stripe account; Stripe's own processing costs are charged to your dojo by Stripe, at Stripe's published rates. See Take payments from families.

How billing starts

The first 30 days of the subscription are included at no additional charge. When your dojo is ready to start, KarateShowCase sends its owner a link to a secure Stripe checkout for your plan. Card details are entered on Stripe's own pages and never reach KarateShowCase, and the first monthly charge comes after the included days.

If a payment fails

If a subscription payment fails, your team space continues to work for 14 days while you update your payment details. After that, paid features are unavailable until payment succeeds. Your data is not deleted, and access is restored when payment is received.

If a payment fails, your team space keeps working through a 14-day grace period. If it still has not gone through by then, your dojo's administrators see a notice with a button to update the card.

Questions about your bill

Refunds, where they arise, are handled by KarateShowCase directly. Email info@KarateShowCase.com. Owners and administrators manage the dojo's billing.
