Keep your account secure
For Students and families, Coaches, Dojo owners and administrators
In short
Your password is stored only in hashed form, every page is served over an encrypted connection, and what each role can see or change is checked on the server, not only in the browser. Use a password you don't use anywhere else, keep your email address up to date, and if you think someone else has used your account, change your password, use Sign out everywhere in My account, and email info@KarateShowCase.com.
Where to find it: your account menu → My account
How your account is protected
Firebase Authentication for secure login and credential management (passwords are hashed; we never see or store them in plain text)
Role-based access control enforced by server-side security rules — what each role can see and change is checked on the server, never only in the browser
- Every page is served over HTTPS.
- Card details for payments are entered on Stripe's own pages and never reach KarateShowCase.
- Deleting an account ends its sessions everywhere.
What you can do
- Use a password of at least six characters that you don't use anywhere else.
- Keep your email address current, so a password reset reaches you: your account menu → My account.
- Sign out on shared computers with Log out in your account menu. Log out signs out this browser only.
If you think someone else used your account
- Change your password: your account menu → My account, New Password. If you can't sign in, use Forgot password? on the sign-in form.
- In the same place, under Sessions, press Sign out everywhere. Other devices lose access within an hour.
- Email info@KarateShowCase.com and tell us what happened.
You agree to notify us promptly of any unauthorized access to your account
